Usually when I visit Ness Gardens I end up concentrating on the small things: the flowers, plants and insects. Rarely do I take shots that show the bigger picture, so here’s a couple that do just that:

You may have gathered from the cop-out nature of the post title that I have absolutely no idea what this plant is called, but it’s interesting and I liked it and so I took some photos:

Sorry, again absolutely no idea what this plant is called…..but it’s very photogenic:
What I need to do, next time I go to Ness Gardens or somewhere similar, is get into the habit of taking a note pad (or dragging myself into the 21st Century using my iPHONE Notes App…;0)….) and jotting down the names of the plants that I shoot.
POST UPDATE – thanks to all those who commented below, and on Facebook, who were kind enough to let me know that the plant is Borage – a herb traditionally used for its medicinal properties.
