Arguably the most spectacular room in Seville’s Alcazar is the Salon de Embjadores or Hall of Ambassadors, used by Pedro I as his throne room:

The magnificent wooden dome was added in 1427 and it is from this that the room gets its alternative name: Hall of the Half Orange:
