Henry Cat

Yesterday my wife and I took the heartbreaking decision to have our beautiful Bengal boy put to sleep. He had been diagnosed with an Osteo-sarcoma of the jaw back in December.

Rest in peace our bumble bee, our sausage pot, our cheese monster, our pud-wud, our snuggle-puss……..our companion and friend. We’ll never have a cat like you again…….your personality was unique and you brightened our lives for 13 years. Thank you.

Tiger Cubs

We went to Chester Zoo last weekend and we saw these cute little pud-wuds. These are Sumatran Tiger cubs (two of them in fact) and they were only born in June this year. Sumatran Tigers are classified as being “critically endangered” with only 300-400 believed to exist in the wild:

Considering these were taken through thick, smeared and slightly tinted glass, I’m really quite pleased with the way these shots have come-out….:0).

We’re off to Spain next week – Osuna in Andalucia to be precise, about half-way between Granada and Seville. Fear not though because I’ll be scheduling a number of other posts from our Chester Zoo trip that will publish whilst we are away…..;0).
