Outer Hebrides Landscapes

For my last post of the Outer Hebrides I’m going to leave you with a few random landscape images from around these beautiful Scottish islands:

The landscape is beautiful. It looks so…untouched by the human hand. I especially like all the shades of blue in the first photo. Look forward to seeing your pictures from Bavaria.

Thanks Nicole, there are a reasonable number of people who live in the Outer Hebrides, but it’s still quite remote 😊

Oh my, I am not a very active blog reader. How else could I have missed the fact that you were posting this wonderful series of The Holy Land? We were just there in August and I have my own series of pictures, but I love to see others, too. There is just no getting enough of it.
By the way, I nominated your blog for the Mystery Blogger Award. Just so you know 😉

We only did Harris and Lewis in our two weeks….we want to go back to the Uists

Did you come across the book ‘Love of Country’? I don’t think one can make it to all the islands, but I sure would love to…! We did Skye with a trip to harris and then a whole lot of the ‘rest’ of Scotlands. Next time it’ll be Islands only 😉

Not come across that book. Done quite a bit of Scotland now: Skye, Mull, Orkney, Lewis, Harris, Dumfries, Aberdeenshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Stirling. I think Shetland or Uists will be next on our list.

Looking forward to the pictures. We’ve done quite a bit, too, but I feel it’s never enough 😉
