River of Light 2016
A few shots from last weekend’s River of Light event jointly organised by Wirral Borough Council and Liverpool City Council to celebrate the UK tradition of “Bonfire Night” on the 5th November. Not sure if they will do this again…..it wasn’t overly successful. In my opinion if you’re going to advertise something as the “River of Light” you better make sure you light up the river! So for me the organisers get 10/10 for ambition and effort, but 5/10 for execution:

Thanks Scott 😊
6 months ago I wouldn’t have made that comment but slowly I am starting to get street photography – that said there is a lot of so-called street photography out there which are just images which have been taken in the street as opposed to an observation of life on the streets – if you get my drift 🙂
I do get what you mean 😊
