Rufford Old Hall: Candlestick
Rufford Old Hall: Woodland Walk
An interesting photo Mark! Nice composition!
The composition is more to do with the crop….they wouldn’t let me move the suit of armour 😊
Great black and white. As Chillbrook said, “Nice composition”.
Very nice repeating patter.
March 28, 2016 THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL PHOTOGRAPHY Rufford Old Hall: Medieval Helm Unable to add to your Pinterest board.
Wow, that looks amazing in B&W, shiny metal!
Cheers , Ron
I like the gritty, contrasty feel to this,Mark
Thanks…..pushed the contrast a bit in post processing, because it seemed to suit the subject.
Great series on the Hall. I do a bit of family research and my roots are most definitely in the Ormskirk area – nice to see some of what’s around 🙂
… and yes, everyone else has said it, but this is a great shot.
Thanks Noeline, we live about 45 minutes south west of Ormskirk. Southport and Formby are worth a visit too. 😊
Haven’t been to Southport – but my great grand aunt lives in Formby 🙂
Lovely stretch of beach and woodland with red squirrels at Formby 😊
