We only had a couple of hours to walk the narrow streets of this charming historic town hidden behind its Renaissance walls, but that was enough to appreciate that Lucca really is lovely:
Lovely photo.
Many years ago, I had this idea of travelling again (which never happened) and picked Lucca as a possible spot to stay as I hadn’t been to that part of the country in my European travels in the 1970s.
It looked altogether very charming and reasonably priced for accommodation. Nice to see your image today.

Indeed, lovely. Two years ago we spent a week there – so much to see for a small town!
I admit. Was there ages ago and still remember the beautiness.
Wow this brings back memories, I remember walking around here late at night trying to find a restaurant, it was so quiet
Beautiful! I reminds me somewhat of the streets of Dubrovnik, Croatia!
Lovely memories

Beautiful streetscape, Mark. I love Lucca- what a beautiful walled city.
