That’s a super shot Mark! Difficult to photograph such an iconic and much photographed landmark and bring something new.. Your composition is superb and the processing just perfect! You’ve put your stamp on this one Mark! Well done!!
Thanks Vicki…..apparently the lean continued to get worse up until the 1990’s when it was closed to the public and the engineers came up with a solution to partially correct the lean and underpin the whole structure. It didn’t open again until 2001. Decided to go with mono because it was such a grey, overcast, rainy day and (as you know) the tower itself is white, that there wasn’t much colour in the image anyway 😊

Thanks Adrian……it’s actually quite difficult to get a clean shot of the tower, there’s a lot of stuff going on around it and in the background 😊
Gosh, The Leaning Tower looks as though its leaning more than ever (since I photographed it in 1976).
Looks good in B & W.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for responding
to my graceful swan comment.
My reply took a detour
to Pluto before rebounding
back to Earth like a boomerang.
Your images are excellent.
I think you’ve got a future
in photography.
I’m not much of a blogger
and I seem to have an aversion
to numerous social media sites
and anything that involves
human interaction.
Anyway, a pleasant year to you.
