Greve in Chianti
The Chianti region is split between the provinces of Florence (the Chianti Fiorentino) and Siena (Chianti Senese). In the former, the main town is Greve in Chianti. We only spent a couple of hours here, mainly to have lunch in the picturesque main square:

Very nice photo’s. I love looking at the angle of the buildings and the random people walking. Just love these shots. They seem alive.
Thank you

Thanks
It looks lovely there. Your photos really convey the shapes in the architecture and the relationships between buildings and the plaza. I love Italy and long to explore more of the country, see more regions. Your photos are giving me itchy feet.
Haha….thanks Laura. Well there is plenty more to come, so if you’ve got itchy feet now……

Thanks sweet-pea
Today in cold and wintery Taranaki weather the thought of sitting in Greve for a summers lunch is most enticing
I know exactly what you mean Lynne….with a glass or two of Chianti of course.
