Dandelion
I don’t think I’ve posted any Dandelion shots before…..in fact I don’t think I’ve taken any Dandelion shots before! Isn’t it amazing how something so common can also be so intricate, delicate and beautiful:

Hello Mark. Both photos are great, but I like the first one better.
Thanks Carlos π
Beautifully done Mark!
Thanks Sarah….I’m pretty pleased with these two π
I love the hints of colour π
I’ve glad you’ve said that….I experimented with converting to mono, but they didn’t work as well π
It’s almost instinctive to put shots like these into mono but it’s definitely the colours that really make these work π
I love this so much, Mark! They are really amazing. I love the composition and I agree with Sarah about the hints of color. Very pretty. π
Thanks Laura……that really is much appreciated π
you’re so welcome Mark π
The repetitive makes it beautiful!
Thanks Jeanette π
Absolutely superb Mike. These are great shots – such fine detail. On to matters more mundane – now you know how it feels to be shite at fitba’, why not move north this week and vote Yes in September!? π
Thanks Mjollnir……it’s my new little macro lens, it really is very good π. In all seriousness we may well move up to Scotland one day…..we do love it up there. I’ve switched off to football now, till August…….it’s all about the cricket and tennis for the next few weeks…..come on Andy Murray, do it for Britain π
I love these images, Mark.
That first image is particularly lovely with the background colour and delicacy of the seed heads.
[…] the theme from yesterday, here are a couple of shots of Dandelion seeds suspended in the threads of a spider’s […]
I rather like the second one- the edges seem to glow as the little fairy puffs get ready for take off on the next gust of wind!!
Thanks Cybele π
Excellent. I think the second wins it for me with its neatness and delicate focus.
Thanks…..I think I agree π
love these Mark – enjoyed the catch up – love the fact you are trying all sorts of disciplines and POVs
Thanks Scott…..well you know what they say about variety…π
