Burton Mere RSPB Reserve
We’ve only been to the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) Reserve at Burton Mere a couple of times, but as it’s pretty local to us (and since we became members the last time we visited a few weeks ago) I think we shall be visiting many more times in the future. Its situated on the Cheshire/Wirral border on the estuary to the River Dee and is a magnet for a surprisingly wide variety of flora and fauna.
The images below have been posted on this site before, but as they are all from the same location I thought it was appropriate to share them again in one gallery.

It’s amazing….we have a reserve near here that is similar with a refinery in the distance! Very nice shots Mark. And I loved your MMC submission. 🙂
