Did you do the new walk? We were there a couple of weeks ago and walked, slowly i might add ;), round to the railway bridge. There were some marsh orchids out at the time which were very pretty and lots of insects flitting around. Funny enough we didnt actually see that many birds worth waiting about for, strange that.
Yeah we did the new walk Karen….up to the new hide. I agree there weren’t that many birds either….maybe it was a bit too early in the season for all the migratory varieties.
Possibly but then i have been there quite a few times and you dont really see that many birds there, not like at wild fowl trust.
