Thanks Sarah…..yes well worth a visit. I’ve just concentrated on the cathedral with these shots (and there are still more to come 😉) but the town is nice too.
I believe it’s quite a historic city! There’s mention of the city going way back to Anglo-Saxon times, possibly even Roman era. I look forward to seeing more of your photos 🙂
Been to Lichfield so many time and have friends who live their, plus only just up the road BUT never been inside the Cathedral. Thanks for showing me what I have missed.

I’ve not been to Lichfield and having seen your great series of images I think I shall have to visit! Just stunning 🙂

Well there has been a Cathedral there since 700AD, so that fits.

There! Spelling and grammar on holiday this evening 😉
Sorry, I’ll correct that first chance I get.
You’re welcome Adrian….you’ll have to pop in next time you visit
Can’t believe all those single seats, Mark.
Where are all the church pews & bench seats?
I know, I guess it’s because it gives them more flexibility to lay things out how they want depending on what it’s being used for.
Nice collection Mark – your detail images are lovely and I particularly liked the door.
Thanks
Wow, this is my favourite so far. Great work!
Thanks Dina 😊
there is a real sense of a never ending cathedral in each of these pictures …….. nicely taken
Thanks – I know what you mean…it seems to go on forever
