Lichfield Cathedral 2

Lichfield Cathedral is constructed mainly from sandstone which gives the building a distinctive red-brown colour, especially the ornately carved West Front:

    Great shots but what is the white sculpture in the first image. A truly magnificent cathedral.

      Thanks Lee…..it was a temporary exhibition of modern sculpture….I can’t remember what it was called or who it was by, but I do recall it was for sale – if you had about £25,000 to spare 😉
