Lichfield Cathedral 1
Below is a shot of the magnificent West Front of Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire:
Lichfield is unique in that it is the only Medieval Cathedral in England with three spires. The central spire is 77mm tall and the two western spires a mere 58m. Dedicated to St Chad and St Mary, there has been a Cathedral on this site since 700 AD.
More to come from Lichfield Cathedral over the next few days.

Looks majestic…
Thanks Sreejith……it’s pretty impressive.
Great shot and the workmanship in stone is amazing, so much of it. It’s nearly like an Indian temple.
Thanks Lee….that’s a good observation, it is very ornate. More images to come over the next few days 😊
Does that count as ‘one up’ on Salisbury?! 😀
Does Salisbury only have two spires then 😉
😀 😀
