Tiger Cubs

We went to Chester Zoo last weekend and we saw these cute little pud-wuds. These are Sumatran Tiger cubs (two of them in fact) and they were only born in June this year. Sumatran Tigers are classified as being “critically endangered” with only 300-400 believed to exist in the wild:

Considering these were taken through thick, smeared and slightly tinted glass, I’m really quite pleased with the way these shots have come-out….:0).

We’re off to Spain next week – Osuna in Andalucia to be precise, about half-way between Granada and Seville. Fear not though because I’ll be scheduling a number of other posts from our Chester Zoo trip that will publish whilst we are away…..;0).

Great shots Mark. This is one animal that looks great in both colour and B & W.
