Horse Trials – Finale
I promise that this is the final post from the Wetherbys Bank Cholmondeley Castle Horse Trials. That isn’t to say that I don’t have anymore to share…..I have loads…..but I’ve been quite ruthless and decided to restrict those that I work on and publish. Besides there must be an unwritten blogging rule that goes something like – “Thou shalt not post more than x number of times on the same subject”…….;0).
Having said that I really quite enjoyed taking these shots and I’ve enjoyed doing the post-processing…..I actually quite fancy becoming an Equestrian photographer, although I admit it’s probably a bit of a niche market! Still I think I will have a look for a few more horse-related events that I can go and photograph…..so don’t be surprised if you see a few more posts of our “fetlock-ed friends” in the not too distant future:

Great series Mark – tried this myself way back when with a wet film camera and black n white film – results were no way as consistent as you have here. Timing is everything well done.
Cheers Scott – I really enjoyed doing these.
Equestrian events is a wonderful niche to be in. It helps to really know the course and time it just when the horse begins the jump. You can do well in this market. good luck with it.
Thanks for the encouragement 😊
A beautiful subject for sure. Your photos are terrific! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Patty 😊
