The Wirral Way
The Wirral Way is a 13 mile long path which runs along the old Hooton to West Kirby branch line railway. Last Saturday, as the weather was pretty good, Liz and I decided to walk the stretch from the Wirral Country Park near Thurstaston to West Kirby, a distance of about 6 miles there and back. Below are the shots I took along the way:

Spring has sprung I see. You’re a wee bit ahead of us, although it’s coming slowly but surely. 🙂
Thanks Mjollnir – well it did last weekend, but this weekend it’s back to the cold and wet!
Typical! 😀
Smashing pictures Mark. Love the macros.
Thanks Adrian 😊
We live in such a beautiful corner of the country, have you been down to ‘the cutting’, the old railway line, just before hooton? We went last year and i got some lovely photos and had a great walk too.
We do indeed live in a lovely part of the world. Not been to “the cutting”, but we’ll definitely give that a go. Thanks.
