West Kirby Golden

This shot was taken a couple of weeks ago and is a view from West Kirby on the Wirral looking out across the Dee Estuary towards Hilbre Islands sitting on the horizon.

West Kirby Golden

I’ve used Nik’s HDR Efex Pro 2 software to combine together three bracketed images of the same subject but with three different exposures.

This is my first ever HDR image and as such I would particularly welcome your feedback on this one.

This HDR is nicely done! It just lack of more dynamic range and contrast! Keep up the good work!

Its a great composition Mark, and I wouldn’t have known it was HDR; the colour are just right.

Your photo is a great image, you have a lovely range of colours and it looks ‘real’ which for me is a must, i have played with the arty type of hdr and it is amusing but want realistic images now. The comment about dynamic range, yes maybe you need to have a look at that again but nothing major. If this is your first attempt, all i can say is well done! I cant wait to see your other hdr images.
