The Black Country Museum

We visited the Black Country Museum back in September 2012… yes another one of those shoots that I didn’t get round to posting at the time. Having said that posting now has turned out to be quite timely…..if you have been watching the excellent “Dancing on the Edge” on the BBC you may recognise some of the locations. The Providence Chapel and the Main Street especially were used in a number of scenes in episode 2.

I would certainly recommend a visit to the Black Country Museum, there is plenty to do for all the family and you can easily spend a whole day exploring the fascinating industrial and social history of this part of the world. As I hope you can see from the images above there are also plenty of photo opportunities.
