Autumn Ness
For those of you who have been following my blog you will know that Ness Gardens is one of my favourite local photography destinations. You will also know that I’ve been taking part in their seasonal photo competition, which has been running throughout 2012, and that I was lucky enough to be awarded a second and a joint third place in the Spring round. I didn’t get anywhere in the Winter and Summer sections.
That leaves the final round, Autumn…..my favourite season.
Over the past couple of months I’ve visited Ness on a couple of occasions with the purpose of taking shots that I could enter into the competition, so I thought I would share with you a few of my favourites:
I haven’t decided yet which two I’m going to enter, but I need to make a decision quickly because the closing date is this Friday, 14th December.
At the moment I’m drawn towards “Leaf Lights” and “Pink Sorbus” mainly because of the light and colours, but I also like “Crinkle” because of the sharpness and texture. I’m also fond of the two mushroom shots, even though they were in a dark, dingy and overgrown part of the garden in which I was forced to shoot hand-held with an ISO of 1600.
I’m just not sure what to go for…..maybe you guys could help me decide…..:0).
