At the same time as I took the still life shots of our home-grown Strawberries, I also took these shots of the big-beautiful hydrangea flower heads that we have growing in our front garden. As with the strawberry shoot, I bought the flower-heads indoors so that I had total control of the situation.
I decided to spray the flowers with water to try and get a droplet effect, but to be honest I don’t think it’s been that successful…..mainly because I got a little carried away with the spray-gun. I think a pipette (or something similar) would have worked better, so that I could place the drops exactly where I wanted them for the composition. I shall learn for next time!
