Mull & Iona 14 – The Ferry Home

This is my final post of shots from Mull & Iona….:0(.

These were taken using my Tamron 70-300mm lens from the deck of the Calmac ferry from Craignure to Oban – leaving the wonderful Isles of Mull and Iona behind as we started on our long journey home after a truly fabulous holiday.

Mull is a beautiful island and coupled with Iona (not to forget the fascinating and unique Isle of Staffa) makes for a great holiday destination. It’s less touristy than Skye, but with a more varied landscape – dramatic and tranquil in equal measure. It easily had enough to hold our attention for two weeks, in fact it’s one of those places we could easily re-visit.

Not for a while though – next up for us is a few days away in Oxford, followed by two weeks in the Orkney Isles next year….:0).
