Picturesque Tobermory, with its brightly coloured houses nestled around its sheltered bay, must be one of the most attractive harbour towns anywhere in the UK. It was established over 200 years ago and is now by far the largest settlement on Mull – although that’s not saying much!
We spent a lovely day exploring the “capital of Mull” – we did a bit of shopping in some of the quaint little craft shops, had a fabulous seafood lunch at the award-winning Cafe Fish, visited the distillery and, oh yeah…….took a few photos………

Btw…..for those of you with kids of a certain age, you may recognise it as the location of BBC TV’s children’s programme “Balamory”.
