Haddon Hall – Part 1

Just thought I would share a few photos of our recent visit to the beautiful Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, one of the finest examples of a fortified medieval manor house in the country.

Fans of The Princess Bride, the classic 1987 Rob Reiner movie, maybe interested to know that Haddon Hall was used as the setting for Prince Humperdinck’s castle. If you’ve never seen the film…..shame on you…..!!!
